Accounts Receivable Officer – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance Team at Trace Hospitality, an emerging F&B company operating across Abu Dhabi and the UAE. The role focuses on accurate invoicing, timely collections, and thorough reconciliation of receivables, supporting our growing portfolio of restaurants and catering services.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily credit transfers, bank accounts, credit‑card transactions and aggregator POS systems.
• Monitor aggregator commissions and flag discrepancies or cancellation‑term violations.
• Coordinate with branches for daily sales reconciliation and prepare cash‑inflow versus sales reports.
• Prepare, review and dispatch catering invoices; follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain and send Statements of Account to trade debtors at month‑end or post‑event.
• Open debtor accounts upon receipt of signed contracts; manage advance deposits and payment schedules.
• Allocate and reconcile payments accurately in QuickBooks AR.
• Prepare AR journals for revenue adjustments, bank charges and credit‑card commissions.
• Conduct daily collection follow‑ups and escalate overdue accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role; F&B or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi and hold a valid driver’s licence.
