Accounts Receivable & Revenue Accountant

About the role

The Accounts Receivable & Revenue Accountant will own end‑to‑end revenue accounting, billing, collections and cash application processes. You will ensure accurate revenue recognition, timely receipt of payments and compliance with VAT and intercompany policies while supporting finance transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily sales and revenue reconciliations across POS, operational systems and ERP platforms.
• Generate, validate and issue customer invoices, debit and credit notes.
• Apply customer receipts, reconcile outstanding receivables, monitor credit limits and drive collections.
• Verify incentive, rebate and commission calculations and ensure timely disbursements.
• Record, reconcile and settle intercompany transactions, maintaining supporting agreements.
• Prepare journal entries with appropriate documentation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Provide schedules and documents for internal and external audits.
• Perform input/output VAT reconciliations and support indirect tax filings.
• Participate in ERP implementations, system integrations and process‑automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Finance or Commerce graduate; MBA‑Finance preferred.
• 4‑7 years of relevant experience in the UAE, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for automation.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Good understanding of VAT compliance and intercompany accounting processes.
