Adjunct Psychology Faculty (Research Methods / Clinical-Counseling)

About the role

Zayed University's College of Natural and Health Sciences and its Psychology Department are recruiting two or more adjunct faculty members to teach across different areas of psychology. The department offers an MSc in Counseling Psychology, and those appointed with research methods expertise are expected to teach evening classes to Master's students and day classes to undergraduates; faculty with clinical experience are sought to teach courses in the MSc program.

Key responsibilities

• Teach primarily graduate courses for the MSc Counseling Psychology program (evenings)
• Teach possible undergraduate courses during the day
• Teach courses in the MSc Counseling Psychology program, depending on expertise

Required profile

• A PhD in Psychology
• Strong background in research methods and/or clinical/counseling psychology
• Residing in the UAE; a work visa requires an NOC from the current employer, and a golden visa is also accepted
• Relevant teaching experience, preferably at post-graduate level
• A student-centered and innovative approach to teaching
