About the role

Emirates Group's Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACoE) is a central unit that gives data and analytics support to Emirates Group businesses, underpinning its digital transformation strategy. As Agile Delivery Manager, you will plan, lead, organise and motivate scrum teams within a Release Train or outside it, delivering high-quality outputs of exceptional value. You may manage several concurrent high-visibility initiatives using agile or hybrid methods in a fast-paced environment involving multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review, and coach team members to optimise the Release Train team's efficiency.
  • Blend traditional project management with an Agile approach, balancing agility and predictability according to PMI-ACP principles.
  • Create a safe environment for raising problems, protect the team with servant leadership, and encourage discussion, decision-making and conflict resolution.
  • Lead Integrated Programme Planning (Lean Startup) with portfolio teams and the Technical Product Manager, decomposing Epic roadmaps into integrated programme backlogs ready for team backlogs.
  • Drive quality by ensuring the Definition of Done is followed and encouraging a sustainable pace.
  • Maintain an agile project management tool (e.g. ScrumDesk, JIRA).
  • Support team development, remove roadblocks, leverage cross-functional skills to improve backlog throughput, and mentor team members.
  • Attend stand-ups and scrum of scrums, and support the Technical Product Manager and IT Service Manager.
  • Define and champion process improvement and agile governance, including continuous assessment of velocity and defect rates.
  • Assist with cost estimation, total cost of ownership, budget control and forecasting, and support the RFx phases of procurement.

Required profile

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Certified SAFe and PMI ACP, with 5+ years of practical application of Scrum management; additional certifications such as PMI, Prince2 or CSM are desirable.
  • Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams, and experience in agile delivery within large technology change programmes.

Required skills

  • Well-versed in software delivery tools such as ServiceNow ITBM, Microsoft Office, JIRA and Confluence.
  • Good architectural knowledge of large-scale systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and hands-on leadership.

What we offer

  • An attractive tax-free salary.
  • Travel benefits including discounts on flights and hotel stays worldwide.
