Associate IT Specialist (UAE National)

About the role

A leading provider of airport logistics solutions is looking for motivated UAE National students pursuing degrees in Information Technology or related fields. The Graduate Trainee - Associate IT Specialist supports the administration and operations teams in day-to-day business and office activities, gaining practical exposure to office administration, coordination, documentation, reporting and stakeholder engagement within airport logistics projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
• Assist in upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
• Implement security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
• Create user accounts and perform access control.
• Perform diagnostic tests and debugging to optimise computer systems.
• Document processes, back up and archive data, and develop data retrieval and recovery procedures.
• Design and implement end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
• Supervise and mentor IT department employees and provide IT support.
• Keep up to date with IT administration advancements and best practices.

Required profile

• UAE National (family book required).
• Diploma or equivalent qualification; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior administration experience in a multinational company or similar organisation with large teams is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and software.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English and ability to work with multicultural teams.
• Proactive self-learner, customer focused, with a positive team attitude and professional ethics.
