Aircraft Technician - Line Maintenance (Emiratisation)

About the role

Emirates Engineering is a GCAA CAR V approved aircraft maintenance facility supporting Emirates' Airbus and Boeing fleet and thirty other airlines through third-party contracts. As an Aircraft Technician in line maintenance you will perform maintenance tasks on Emirates and third-party aircraft and components in compliance with company procedures and regulations, working as part of a team under the direction of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of aircraft, engines and components, and approved structural repairs in line with manufacturer procedures.
• Follow safety procedures during fluid replenishment, refuelling and systems charging or servicing.
• Complete component replacements and other maintenance directed by the supervisor, using the AMM, IPC, CMM, SRM or other OEM-approved documentation.
• Support Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Approved/Licensed Technicians with troubleshooting, repairs and modifications according to job cards, and report defects and handover accurately.
• Maintain a strong safety culture, keep work areas free of FOD, and audit tools, vehicles and equipment while holding a valid Airport Driving Permit.
• Contribute to team objectives and continuous improvement, and help with resource allocation and departmental projects when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2.5 years' work experience in an aviation engineering maintenance environment.
• Graduate (12+2) in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved maintenance organisation, or an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License.
• At least two years of on-the-job training in an airline or approved maintenance organisation.
