Aluminum Design Engineer – Dubai

About the role

The company is seeking a full‑time Designer specialized in aluminum and glass systems to join its Dubai office. You will translate client requirements and project specifications into detailed design concepts, drawings and shop details, ensuring compliance with structural, safety and aesthetic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, revise and finalize CAD drawings for aluminum façades, curtain walls, windows and doors.
• Develop shop drawings, material take‑offs (MTO), fabrication details, installation guides and as‑built drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, production teams and sales/estimation staff throughout the project lifecycle.
• Select appropriate aluminum systems and accessories, optimise designs for fabrication and installation.
• Resolve design‑related issues and provide technical input for proposals.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in aluminum, façade, curtain wall, window or architectural metal work.
• Strong foundation in design thinking and ability to apply interaction design principles to operable elements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on‑site in Dubai.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit or similar).
• Experience creating shop drawings, MTOs, fabrication details, installation guides and as‑built drawings.
