Analyst - IT Solutions, Travel Domain

About the role

Air Arabia is looking for an Analyst for its IT Solutions team covering the travel domain, based in Sharjah. The role provides techno-functional support for corporate travel technology solutions, including GDS platforms, Online Booking Tools (OBTs), API integrations, B2B/POS systems and expense management solutions. You will partner with business teams, customers and vendors to deliver enhancements, resolve technical issues and support project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main techno-functional contact between business teams, technical teams, customers, vendors and implementation partners, gathering requirements and resolving issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot travel technology solutions built on GDS platforms such as Travelport, Amadeus and Sabre, coordinating with vendors to keep systems stable.
• Support the integration, configuration and maintenance of Air and Non-Air APIs, validating interfaces and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Provide techno-functional support for OBTs, B2B portals and POS systems, ensuring alignment with client travel policies and best practices.
• Maintain corporate travel data (customer profiles, travel policies, negotiated rates, supplier information) and support expense management solutions such as SAP Concur or equivalents.
• Prepare functional specifications, support solution design and apply project management principles to plan and deliver technology initiatives.
• Coordinate UAT, defect tracking, issue resolution and change management so that implementations run smoothly.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong corporate travel business experience (mandatory).
• 4-6 years of experience, preferably in travel technology or large travel companies.
• Demonstrated project management capability.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of GDS systems (Travelport, Amadeus, Sabre); scripting knowledge is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Air and Non-Air APIs.
• Hands-on exposure to Online Booking Tools (OBT, B2B).
• Basic SQL/database querying; Python or C# is good to have.
• Familiarity with ticketing/ITSM tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
• Good documentation skills (BRD/FRD, SOPs) and ability to work under tight deadlines.
