Full Stack Developer

About the role

Crescent Petroleum is hiring a Full Stack Developer in Sharjah. The role covers the development, architecture and implementation of front-end and back-end processes, data analysis and reporting, from concept to final product. Solutions are deployed across platforms in an automated, secure and efficient way, following Agile and DevSecOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable core business applications, including application servers, hardware, endpoints, APIs and databases.
• Build data and CI/CD pipelines with Infrastructure and Security teams, and create data models for business intelligence and reporting.
• Address security requirements and vulnerabilities, and build dashboards that show data trends.
• Define testing procedures and test cases, and work with relational databases to store, retrieve and optimise data while keeping it secure and consistent.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, clean and transform it, and document processes and train users.
• Maintain systems, monitor health, upgrade information systems and liaise with external suppliers.
• Research current IT practices, especially systems administration and management, and recommend follow-up actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems or Electronics & Telecommunications.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing, developing and implementing business applications.
• Strong DevSecOps and application development experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (PaaS, IaaS, IaC) and cloud deployments with Kubernetes, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Docker.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (pipelines, dataflows, Eventhouse).
• Hybrid mobile app development, preferably with Flutter.

• MySQL, PostgreSQL and PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter (added advantage)
