Application Support Analyst – Finance & HRMS

About the role

We are seeking an experienced L1 Support Analyst / Business Analyst to provide application support for business‑critical Finance and HRMS systems. The role blends technical support, functional testing, and stakeholder coordination to ensure stable operations and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for Finance (70%) and HRMS (30%) applications.
• Maintain system stability, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements.
• Collaborate with finance users, HR teams, developers, and technical support groups.
• Perform functional testing and validate system changes.
• Analyse business requirements, document functional specifications, and support process improvements.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience as a Support Analyst / Business Analyst.
• Background in Insurance or Financial Services preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.

Required skills

• ERP and Finance application support.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL troubleshooting.
• Oracle Database knowledge.
• Understanding of GL, AP, AR and financial closing processes.
• Experience with employee, leave, attendance, organization structure and self‑service modules.
• Business requirements analysis, process analysis and functional documentation.
• Java, Spring Boot, JSP, HTML, AJAX, jQuery (basic).
