Applications Manager – Enterprise Business Systems

About the role

The Applications Manager will own the stability, performance and continuous improvement of all enterprise business applications for Union Properties and its subsidiaries. You will act as the bridge between business units and IT, ensuring applications support operations and align with digital transformation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise applications (CRM, HR, Property Management, AI applications and other business systems).
• Ensure high availability, performance and reliability; oversee L1/L2/L3 support, incident management and problem resolution.
• Serve as primary liaison with business stakeholders, translating requirements into functional specifications.
• Manage vendor relationships, monitor SLA compliance and coordinate upgrades, patches and enhancements.
• Govern change, release and enhancement processes, coordinating UAT, deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance and governance standards, supporting audits and access reviews.
• Define and maintain the enterprise application roadmap, identifying automation and integration opportunities.
• Control application budgets, license renewals and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing enterprise‑wide business applications.
• Strong understanding of IT service management processes (incident, change, release).
• Excellent stakeholder management and vendor negotiation skills.
• Ability to align technology initiatives with business strategy.
