Applications Support Analyst (UAE Nationals Only) - Dubai

About the role

Citi is hiring an Applications Support Analyst in Dubai, open only to UAE nationals. The role sits in the Applications Support job family within the Technology group and is full time. It covers maintaining, improving and supporting applications and their operating environments, working closely with development and production support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, identify and define enhancements to existing applications and their operating environments, and recommend improvements
• Analyze existing system logic and implement enhancements or fixes
• Define scope and objectives of changes through research and fact-finding, document requirements and partner with development and production support areas
• Take part in validation and testing activities
• Assess risk, uphold compliance with laws, rules and regulations, and safeguard the firm, its clients and assets
• Support business decisions by turning direction into actionable steps, following up on them and handling non-routine situations with sound judgement
• Ensure processes are followed consistently and outputs meet expected standards, and review outputs to guide approach where needed

Required profile

• 2-6 years of experience or interest in application support procedures, concepts and other technical areas
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork

Required skills

• Knowledge of banking applications and server infrastructure
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in some process improvements
