Architectural Design Lead

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Architectural Design Lead to drive the creative and technical direction of high‑profile projects across multiple sectors in Abu Dhabi. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from concept through delivery, ensuring innovative, commercially sound solutions that positively impact communities.

Key responsibilities

• Own sophisticated architectural projects from initial concept to final delivery.
• Set and champion a clear design vision that inspires teams and exceeds client expectations.
• Build strong partnerships with clients and stakeholders to uncover needs and unlock exceptional outcomes.
• Lead design reviews, feasibility studies and validation processes with confidence.
• Provide expert guidance on design, construction methods, regulations and industry best practice.
• Collaborate seamlessly with BIM, engineering and technical specialists.
• Contribute technical input to proposals, tenders and presentations to win new work.
• Mentor and develop talented team members, fostering knowledge‑sharing and continuous growth.
• Introduce fresh technologies and progressive thinking to raise quality and innovation.

Required profile

• A degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Approximately 15+ years of strong architectural design experience.
• Proven track record of leading complex projects and managing design delivery.
• Excellent design flair, technical depth and creative problem‑solving ability.
• Experience thriving in multidisciplinary consultancy environments.
• Outstanding client and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Ability to communicate ideas with clarity, energy and influence.

Required skills

• Confidence with industry‑standard design software and BIM tools.
