Architectural Draftsman (Stone Work)

About the role

A team of marble experts looking for a draftsman with at least 3 years of experience. The role involves preparing detailed drawings and plans for stone work and working closely with engineers, project managers and quantity surveyors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and plans for stone work based on specifications and calculations.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and quantity surveyors to ensure accurate and efficient designs.
• Ensure all drawings meet company standards and client specifications.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from project teams.
• Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies before finalization.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of drawings and revisions for handover to production.
• Coordinate with other draftsmen and project personnel to complete projects on time.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in the field and with software; 3 years minimum experience.
• English is mandatory.
• Marble and granite experience preferred.
• Ability to commute to work.

Required skills

• Expert use of AutoCAD and manual drafting workstations.
• Proficiency in interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations preferred.
