Area Visual Merchandiser

About the role

The Area Visual Merchandiser will lead the visual merchandising strategy across a large region of stores, ensuring that every store reflects the brand’s identity and drives an engaging shopping experience. This temporary position involves guiding senior visual merchandisers, mentoring visual merchandisers, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to maximise commercial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach senior visual merchandisers and visual merchandisers across multiple store locations.
• Design, plan and execute window displays, in‑store layouts and promotional setups, maintaining consistent visual standards.
• Conduct regular team meetings to share market insights, creative direction and address operational challenges.
• Review visual displays, product placement and floor plans, adjusting based on sales trends and customer behaviour.
• Collaborate with operations, buying and brand management to align visual merchandising with inventory, promotions and sales targets.
• Support marketing initiatives by ensuring visual alignment with campaigns and seasonal launches.
• Perform market research, competitor analysis and trend monitoring to drive visual innovation.
• Lead pre‑opening visual set‑up for new stores, ensuring brand standards are met from day one.

Required profile

• Proven experience in visual merchandising within retail or fashion environments.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide visual merchandising teams.
• Excellent understanding of brand image, commercial objectives and customer experience.
• Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to inform visual strategies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
