Art Teacher – Immediate Start (August 2026)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Art Teacher to join ADNOC Schools in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the Massachusetts Curriculum‑based art programme to secondary students, fostering creativity and critical thinking in a state‑of‑the‑art learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create a climate for learning that encourages outstanding artistic practice.
• Identify clear teaching and learning objectives and set challenging tasks.
• Differentiate instruction for SEN and highly able students.
• Maintain lesson pace, motivation and challenge through clear structures.
• Use assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning.
• Maintain discipline in line with the school’s Behaviour for Learning Policy.
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies, effective questioning and appropriate vocabulary.
• Integrate ICT, library resources and other learning technologies into lessons.
• Mark student work regularly, set progress targets and record achievement.
• Prepare students for examinations and departmental assessments.
