Assistant Category Manager – FMCG & Fashion

About the role
We are seeking dynamic Assistant Category Managers to join a leading multinational retail group operating in the UAE. In this role you will support the development and execution of category strategies for high‑profile FMCG and fashion brands, working in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the creation and implementation of category strategy and planning.
- Manage product assortment, pricing, inventory control and promotional activities.
- Coordinate daily with suppliers, internal merchandising, buying and retail teams.
- Analyse sales performance, market trends and consumer insights to inform decisions.
Required profile
- Proven experience in category management, buying, merchandising or procurement.
- Relevant exposure to either FMCG or fashion sectors (at least one is mandatory).
- Strong commercial acumen and effective communication skills.
- Expert‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
