Assistant Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Assistant Human Resources Manager supports the Director of Human Resources in overseeing daily HR operations at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah. This position ensures smooth payroll, recruitment, accommodation, PRO, and insurance processes while maintaining compliance with company policies and UAE labor law.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Director of Human Resources in managing overall HR operations.
• Supervise the HR team to ensure efficient daily activities.
• Oversee payroll processing, attendance, leave management, and HR administration.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention of all team members.
• Supervise team‑member accommodation and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate PRO activities, including visas, labor cards, Emirates ID, and government documentation.
• Administer employee medical insurance, renewals, and related coordination.
• Maintain accurate employee records and confidential documentation.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace experience.

Required profile

• Experience supporting senior HR leadership in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor regulations and company HR policies.
• Ability to supervise and lead an HR team.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
