Assistant Human Resources Manager

About the role

Millennium Hotels and Resorts is looking for an Assistant Human Resources Manager in Abu Dhabi. You will support the Head of Human Resources in developing and running HR strategy, recruitment, employee relations, talent management and performance management, while making sure HR policies and practices fit the company's goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Human Resources in developing and executing HR strategies aligned with the company's mission and objectives.
• Take part in HR budgeting, workforce planning and policy development.
• Handle employee relations matters such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and grievances.
• Work with the recruitment team to identify staffing needs, interview candidates and recommend hires, and help design recruitment strategies.
• Support talent development, including training and development programmes.
• Help with performance management, including goal setting, appraisals and feedback.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with labour laws and regulations, and assist in HR audits and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with the compensation and benefits team to administer and communicate benefit programmes and give advice on compensation matters.
• Run employee engagement initiatives and promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
• Analyse HR data and trends, prepare HR reports for management and guide HR team members.
• Follow the company's environmental, health and safety procedures.
