UAEN Development Specialist

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is hiring a Specialist UAEN Development in Abu Dhabi. The role holder supports the AVP, UAEN Development in delivering learning and development for assigned portfolios, covering training design and delivery and the day-to-day administration of development initiatives aligned with the Emiratization strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support and implement learning and development programmes for allocated UAE Nationals across business areas, manage Emirati bespoke development programmes and projects, and ensure compliance with internal quality standards.
• Deliver on the training needs analysis and oversee the design of all business-related trainings, coordinating business meetings for programme design and delivery.
• Train staff on internal sessions, develop in-house course content, and liaise with external trainers and vendors locally, regionally and globally.
• Ensure cost-efficient procurement of learning services such as facilities, content and delivery.
• Track and report progress on daily, weekly and monthly deliverables, attend progress meetings, and measure the ROI of learning and development to guide budget allocation.
• Obtain approvals for customised training models such as computer-based training, presentations, textbooks and instructor guides.
• Liaise with stakeholders, trainees, trainers, subject matter experts, product managers and vendors, and source and manage vendors through the RFP process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Human Resources) or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in training and learning and development, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Experience in training delivery and digital training implementation is preferred.
