Assistant Manager Financial Business Support

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Financial Business Support to join a large corporate bank. This commercially focused role provides management information, financial analysis and business support to enable effective decision‑making and close monitoring of performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver timely management information (MIS) and financial reports for senior management.
• Monitor business performance, identify variances and conduct initial analysis of under‑ or over‑performance.
• Support IFRS transition projects, assess impact of new standards and prepare related accounting conclusions.
• Coordinate audit, regulatory and compliance requirements and respond to internal and external auditor requests.
• Develop and enhance MIS tools, variance analysis, exception reports and segmental reporting.
• Assist in financial due diligence, M&A analysis and strategic finance initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Banking or related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial services or international banking.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA with post‑qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, IFRS and related regulations.
