Assistant Operation Manager

About the role

Byblos Chocolate, a maker of high-quality chocolates with Dubai-style bars, chocolate-covered dates and other specialty treats, is hiring a full-time, on-site Assistant Operation Manager in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The role supports daily operations across production, packaging, inventory and store coordination so that workflow stays smooth and product quality remains consistent.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and assist with scheduling and staffing
• Coordinate with suppliers
• Support compliance with safety, hygiene and quality standards
• Help implement operational procedures and track performance metrics
• Work with management to improve efficiency and customer experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams so orders are fulfilled on time and brand standards are kept

Required profile

• Ability to work full time on site in Ajman and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Previous experience in hospitality, retail, food production or a similar operations role is preferred
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Hospitality or a related field is an advantage

Required skills

• Operational support: daily store or production management, workflow coordination and process implementation
• Inventory and supply chain basics: stock monitoring, ordering and basic vendor coordination
• Quality and compliance awareness, including food safety, hygiene and product consistency
• Administrative and reporting skills: data entry, office software and operational reports
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
