Assistant Operator – Coiled Tubing

About the role

The Assistant Operator Coiled Tubing supports the execution of coiled tubing operations for oilfield services, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of services that boost well productivity. This full‑time, onsite position works under the guidance of experienced operators and supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, assembling, and deploying coiled tubing equipment and tools for well intervention and stimulation.
• Support operation of coiled tubing units by monitoring equipment performance, pressure, and flow rates, and help with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Rig up and rig down coiled tubing equipment at well sites while following safety procedures and operational standards.
• Participate in coiled tubing interventions such as cleanouts, perforating, logging, and stimulation treatments.
• Handle, store, inspect, and manage inventory of tools, equipment, and materials used in coiled tubing operations.
• Collaborate with the coiled tubing team and other departments to coordinate resources and complete job tasks on schedule.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education (12 years) in English, Mathematics or a science subject, or high school plus a diploma/certificate in coil tubing training.
• Minimum of 1 year practical mechanical exposure as an Operator Assistant.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with basic proficiency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with coiled tubing equipment, rigging, and pressure/flow monitoring.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance abilities.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
