Assistant Professor of Psychology (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Assistant Professor of Psychology will join Abu Dhabi University to deliver high‑quality teaching and lead research initiatives across core and specialized psychology areas. This full‑time position supports both undergraduate and postgraduate programs while contributing to curriculum development and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in cognitive, developmental, social, and abnormal psychology.
• Prepare, update, and assess course materials and student performance.
• Supervise student research projects and guide scholarly activities.
• Contribute to curriculum design, program improvement, and alignment with international standards.
• Engage in research, publish findings, and present at academic conferences.
• Provide academic advising, departmental service, and collaborate with professional and community organizations.
• Coordinate programs and lead research initiatives to enhance the university’s profile.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses.
• Strong research background with a record of publications and conference participation.
