Assistant Relationship Manager – POS / Merchant Acquiring

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager will drive sales and revenue for POS and merchant acquiring products, ensuring a high‑quality client onboarding experience. The role focuses on acquiring new bank customers, cross‑selling to existing clients, and maintaining compliance with bank policies.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets for POS and merchant acquiring products.
• Acquire new bank customers while deepening relationships with existing clientele.
• Conduct thorough customer analysis after field visits and provide complete case information.
• Ensure strict adherence to KYC, compliance, and internal risk‑control processes.
• Maintain daily sales reports and monitor KPI performance.
• Identify and act on cross‑selling opportunities to increase revenue per customer.
• Participate in learning, development, and training programmes to enhance sales effectiveness.

Required profile

• University degree.
• 3–5 years of experience in banking or the financial industry.
• Strong convincing and negotiating abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships with colleagues.
