Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager supports the day‑to‑day operations of the food‑and‑beverage outlets at Four Points by Sheraton, Bur Dubai. Reporting to the Restaurant & Bar Manager, the role ensures seamless service, guest satisfaction and smooth coordination among front‑of‑house staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate staff to deliver high‑quality service and meet guest expectations.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire and overall appearance, correcting any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including set‑up of supplies, equipment cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Maintain storage areas using FIFO principles, conduct inventories and requisition supplies.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, safety and guest wellbeing.
• Generate work orders for maintenance and follow up on repairs.
• Assist in recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluation and disciplinary actions.
• Uphold company safety, security and quality standards, reporting incidents as required.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

Required profile
