Assistant Vice President – Bancassurance Sales

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – Bancassurance Sales is responsible for driving core product sales and cross‑selling additional banking solutions within an assigned territory. The role involves building strong customer relationships, leading a sales team, and ensuring compliance with credit policies while leveraging digital platforms for daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Implement the FAB WAY culture and ensure adherence to SOPs, policies, and code of conduct.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities across other bank divisions and propose new business listings.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase the bank’s visibility and profitability in the market.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal departments, branches, and employee banking relationship managers.
• Utilise Microsoft Tasks, CRM and other digital transformation tools to plan, organise and monitor team activities both on‑site and remotely.
• Ensure compliance with fraud and regulatory guidelines while sourcing quality business.
• Track performance metrics, NPS feedback and reporting systems to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in bancassurance or banking sales leadership.
• Strong understanding of banking products, credit policies and cross‑selling techniques.
• Ability to manage and develop a high‑performing sales team.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
