Assistant Vice President – Influencer Marketing (MENA)

About the role

WPP Media is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead Influencer Marketing for its GOAT Beauty portfolio across the MENA region. The role combines strategic vision, operational oversight, and client partnership to drive high‑impact creator programmes for top‑tier beauty, skincare and personal‑care brands.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute end‑to‑end influencer and creator strategies that align with brand KPIs and industry benchmarks.
• Lead and mentor a team of Influencer Directors, Account Managers and Strategists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Serve as the senior advisor to C‑suite beauty clients, managing relationships, driving account growth and overseeing quarterly business reviews.
• Standardise and optimise workflow processes for product gifting, creator contracting, content approvals and reporting, ensuring compliance with FTC and brand‑safety guidelines.
• Oversee multi‑million‑dollar budgets, monitor P&L performance and maintain target profit margins.

Required profile

• 5+ years of dedicated influencer marketing experience within the beauty, skincare or cosmetics sector (agency or brand side).
• 8–10+ years overall experience in influencer or social media marketing, with at least 3–4 years managing teams of 8+ direct and indirect reports.
• Proven track record of leading high‑volume, multi‑SKU beauty campaigns and delivering measurable ROI.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, with experience engaging C‑level beauty brand leaders.
• Commercial acumen to manage multi‑million‑dollar budgets, pricing models and margin governance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IBEX data analytics tool for creator selection and performance measurement.
• Experience leveraging AI‑driven platforms and internal tech stacks to automate reporting and workflow efficiency.
