Associate Civil Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a UAE National Associate Civil Engineer to join its Dubai office. The role focuses on planning and designing potable water, wastewater, irrigation and related wet utilities infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and design of water, wastewater, irrigation/TSE and associated wet utilities.
• Perform engineering calculations such as demand and flow assessments, pipe sizing and hydraulic analyses under supervision.
• Prepare and review utility layouts, profiles, corridors, cross‑sections, calculations, technical reports and design documentation.
• Develop capability with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and hydraulic modelling tools like WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS.
• Coordinate designs with roads, landscape, structures, dry utilities, BIM and other disciplines.
• Assist with design option assessments, value engineering, constructability, safety in design and operability reviews.
• Support authority submissions, NOCs, technical responses and multidisciplinary coordination activities.
• Participate in site visits, project meetings and structured technical training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering from a recognized university.
• Strong foundation in engineering mathematics, hydraulics/fluid mechanics and basic civil infrastructure principles.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership of tasks and develop technical capability through live project experience.
