Associate Vice President - Scrum Master Everyday Banking

About the role

RAKBANK is modernising everyday banking through digital experiences. The Associate Vice President – Scrum Master will drive agile delivery and act as a proxy product owner for onboarding and everyday banking initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog, refine user stories and validate outcomes as a Proxy Product Owner.
• Coordinate across business, design, technology and external partners to remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
• Monitor squad performance, delivery metrics and product KPIs, providing transparent reporting.
• Support quality assurance activities such as UAT coordination, acceptance testing and release readiness reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8‑12 years of experience in agile delivery, digital product management or Scrum leadership.
• Proven ability to operate as both Scrum Master and Product Owner within cross‑functional teams.
• Experience delivering customer‑facing digital banking products, especially onboarding, payments or accounts.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification (preferred).
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification (preferred).
