Associate/Full Professor – Educational Leadership (2 positions)

About the role

The School of Arts and Sciences at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah invites applications for two full‑time Associate or Full Professor positions in Educational Leadership, starting August 2026. The successful candidates will lead and develop the Master of Education in Educational Leadership program, contributing to graduate education excellence in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Teach graduate courses in Educational Leadership and related subjects.
• Mentor graduate students, supervise theses, and support professional development.
• Oversee curriculum design, program review, and continuous improvement of the M.Ed. program.
• Lead accreditation and quality‑assurance activities (CAEP, SACSCOC, QAA).
• Maintain an active research agenda with publications in high‑impact venues.
• Seek external research funding and expand research capacity.
• Participate in university committees and strategic initiatives.
• Develop collaborations with schools, ministries, and regional education partners.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, Higher Education, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong record of scholarship appropriate for Associate or Full Professor rank (Scopus‑indexed publications, external recognition, international collaboration).
• Demonstrated experience leading graduate programs, including curriculum development and student supervision.
• Proven experience with national and international accreditation and quality‑assurance processes.
• Evidence of excellence in teaching, mentoring, and graduate‑level student engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and within diverse academic environments.
