Auditor - Credit Review

About the role

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is hiring an Auditor for its Internal Audit Group, which provides independent assurance to the Board and adds value through consulting services that strengthen internal controls, risk management and governance. The role covers managing regular and special audit assignments, including credit review work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage regular audits and special review assignments in line with audit standards and best practice, identifying risks across the Bank.
• Prepare BACC/BOD/CEO/management reports summarising audit activity for each assignment.
• Plan, manage and conduct regular and special audits, and take part in complex audits and investigations, including whistle-blowing.
• Review and issue draft reports and observations, then prepare and review final reports and executive summaries.
• Follow up on open issues with auditees, review action plans and recommend improvements to policies and procedures.
• Update the risk register and audit programme, and manage and motivate the team to deliver targets and change initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in operations and financial audits, credit reviews or information systems audits.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance or Computer Science.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other relevant certification, or specific experience in a specialised area with a reputable organisation.
