AutoCAD Draftsman / Technical Detailer – Interior Fit‑Out

About the role

The AutoCAD Draftsman / Technical Detailer will create accurate, construction‑ready drawings for interior fit‑out projects. Working under the Senior Technical Designer, you will translate design concepts into detailed documentation that meets regulatory standards and supports on‑site execution.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed plans, sections, elevations, and shop drawings for interior layouts, joinery, and finishes.
• Prepare technical documentation for architecture, interior, and MEP integration.
• Update drawing sets through all project phases, ensuring compliance with company standards and layering conventions.
• Incorporate redline comments, design changes, and coordination inputs from other disciplines.
• Collaborate with the site team to reflect buildability and installation requirements.
• Develop detailed drawings for bespoke joinery, finishes, and fixtures, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain organized drawing files, version control, and proper naming in the project database.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in technical drawing or design documentation within the interior fit‑out industry.
• Familiarity with UAE construction materials, techniques, and drawing conventions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret design sketches.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Revit (preferred).
• Knowledge of SketchUp or other design tools (preferred).
