Senior Architect & Design Manager

About the role

Golden Square Engineering Consultants is seeking a seasoned Senior Architect / Design Manager to lead architectural design delivery across multiple projects in the UAE and GCC region. The role focuses on detailed design, technical documentation, BIM coordination, authority approvals, and multidisciplinary design management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural teams through Design Development, Detailed Design, Tender Documentation, and IFC stages.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical reports.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project briefs, client requirements, international standards, and local authority regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to architects, BIM modelers, and technical staff.
• Establish and maintain company-wide architectural standards and quality procedures.
• Produce comprehensive detailed design packages, material specifications, and construction assemblies.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, mock‑ups, and technical proposals during construction.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of professional architectural experience, with substantial UAE/GCC exposure.
• Proven leadership in coordinating architecture, structure, MEP, landscape, and specialist disciplines.
• Strong understanding of local authority regulations and international design standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining design excellence.
