Automotive Cashier – Showroom Cash Handling

About the role

We are seeking an Automotive Cashier to manage all cash‑handling activities within our showroom. The role ensures accurate receipt of cash and cheques, proper documentation, and timely reconciliation with finance.

Key responsibilities

• Receive cash, current and post‑dated cheques from customers in line with sales documents.
• Verify authenticity of currencies and security features of cheques according to UAE Central Bank regulations.
• Maintain electronic and manual filing of all banking and cash transaction records.
• Hand over cash and cheques to the central cashier and forward daily cash collection summaries to the Group Finance department.
• Disburse petty cash, perform daily petty‑cash reconciliation and prepare periodic expense summaries.
• Process credit‑card payments using the card machine and forward original slips to finance.
• Forward post‑dated cheques for bank deposit as required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting; a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience handling cash operations in a large organization.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established cash‑handling policies.
