Automotive Technician – Ferrari/Maserati

About the role

Al Tayer Motors is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to service Ferrari and Maserati vehicles in its UAE workshop. The role involves performing repairs and maintenance in line with manufacturer‑approved procedures, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Receive job orders and gather all necessary tools, equipment and parts.
• Diagnose faults accurately and carry out repairs following Ferrari and Maserati repair techniques.
• Report any delays caused by parts unavailability to the Team Leader.
• Secure authorization for additional repairs and manage parts booking.
• Handle warranty parts according to audit requirements and return removed parts in original packaging.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including lifts and personal tools, complying with health‑and‑safety standards.
• Record time, write up repair orders and ensure proper clock‑in/out in the system.
• Return unused parts, store used parts correctly and dispose of waste in an environmentally friendly manner.
• Work extra hours when required to meet customer expectations.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in automotive technology or proven experience with high‑performance vehicles.
• Ability to follow detailed manufacturer repair procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to continuously upgrade knowledge through web‑based courses and classroom training.

Required skills

• Fault diagnosis of luxury performance cars.
• Automotive repair techniques specific to Ferrari and Maserati.
• Proficient use of workshop tools and vehicle lifts.
• Understanding of warranty and parts audit processes.
