AVP, HR Onboarding

About the role

The AVP, HR Onboarding position is designed to strengthen the onboarding experience and support Emiratization goals. It focuses on managing onboarding for new hires, internal transfers, and migration staff, driving efficiency and compliance across onboarding workflows, and enhancing candidate experience through structured processes and timely communication.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end onboarding activities, including document collection, visa processing, and induction scheduling.
• Liaise with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure smooth joining formalities.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements such as CID checks, financial clearance, and visa issuance.
• Track onboarding KPIs and turnaround times, managing the onboarding dashboard.
• Coordinate pre‑joining tasks such as visa/work permit processing, travel logistics, and IT setup.
• Manage day‑one activities including account activation, access card issuance, and induction programs.
• Support Emiratization targets and improve onboarding experience for high‑caliber talent.
• Contribute to organizational transformation initiatives to enhance onboarding processes and candidate experience.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of HR onboarding processes.
• Excellent grasp of strategy development frameworks and execution models.
• Proficient in data analysis, research, and storytelling through presentations.
• Skilled in synthesizing insights from internal metrics and external benchmarks.
• Experience preparing materials for senior leadership and driving cross‑functional alignment.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, connect dots across functions, and influence stakeholders without authority.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in HR.
