AWS Solution Architect (Banking)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to design end‑to‑end product solutions for our banking clients in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on building enterprise‑grade cloud architectures and deploying AI/ML workloads on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise‑level cloud architectures on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, compliance and performance.
• Lead end‑to‑end solution design covering infrastructure, applications and data layers.
• Architect, deploy and operationalise AI/ML solutions using SageMaker, model serving and MLOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and obtain review‑board approvals.
• Define cloud governance, best practices and cost‑optimisation strategies.
• Work with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct architecture reviews and support pre‑sales activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on cloud architecture.
• Proven experience delivering solutions in the banking or financial services domain.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and microservices/API design.
• Strong problem‑solving, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.

Required skills

• AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS.
• AI/ML deployment: SageMaker, model serving, MLOps tools.
• Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Microservices architecture and API design.
• Security, compliance and data‑protection in cloud environments.
