Security Engineer (UAE Project)

About the role

We are seeking a Security Engineer to join a client in the United Arab Emirates on a minimum one‑year project, with the possibility of renewal. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining cybersecurity solutions to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, firewall, and vulnerability management tools.
• Support the rollout of new cybersecurity projects and solutions.
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and produce evaluation reports.
• Monitor tool performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply security updates.
• Assist with audits, incident response, and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams on security operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a technical security role.
• Strong understanding of network security and incident handling.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CC, or SSCP are preferred.
