B1 Aircraft Maintenance Technician – GCAA/EASA with Global/Challenger Type Rating

About the role

Bombardier is opening its new Abu Dhabi Service Center at Al Bateen Executive Airport. The centre will provide advanced MRO capabilities for the entire Bombardier aircraft portfolio. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and requires relocation.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft, including complex system repairs.
• Document all work according to manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise mechanics, ensure tasks meet required standards, and release or sign‑off maintenance work.
• Perform complete engine runs and off‑site maintenance as needed.
• Provide time estimates and support training of junior staff.

Required profile

• Valid GCAA and/or EASA Part 66 B1 (or C) Aircraft Technician License.
• Type rating on Bombardier Challenger and Global series.
• Minimum 5 years experience on Bombardier Global/Challenger aircraft.
• Knowledge of Part‑M, Part‑145, human factors, EWIS and CDCCL.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work with standard and special tools.
