B1 Technician – Line Maintenance

About the role

The B1 Technician will support the Engineer-in-Charge in performing airframe and engine maintenance on Air Arabia and third‑party aircraft. The role involves inspections, defect rectification, component replacement and accurate recording of work to ensure aircraft serviceability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Review assigned task cards with the Engineer‑in‑Charge to understand work scope, priorities and documentation requirements.
• Prepare and execute scheduled aircraft maintenance, ensuring required parts, tools and ground support equipment (GSE) are available.
• Carry out aircraft tests and inspections, identifying and recording any defects or damage according to approved procedures.
• Perform repairs, component replacements and functional tests as directed by task cards and the Engineer‑in‑Charge.
• Manage tooling and equipment, returning all items in good condition after use.
• Report task status regularly and alert the Engineer‑in‑Charge to any issues with aircraft condition or work execution.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to all safety precautions during maintenance activities.
• Promote cost awareness by minimizing waste of consumables and avoiding unnecessary re‑work.

Required profile

• Qualified and experienced Civil Aircraft Maintenance Technician.
• Hands‑on experience with airframe and engine maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and follow task cards, maintenance manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Strong focus on safety, documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Awareness of cost implications and commitment to waste reduction.
• Team‑oriented attitude with good internal customer service skills.
