About the role

The Banquet Intern will join JW Marriott Marquis Dubai’s vibrant events team, gaining hands‑on experience in banquet operations within a world‑class 5‑star hotel. This full‑time, on‑site internship offers a unique opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real‑world hospitality settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up banquet venues, including table arrangements, décor, and audio‑visual equipment.
• Support the banquet team during service, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth operation.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to manage food and beverage delivery.
• Help maintain inventory of banquet supplies and report any shortages.
• Participate in post‑event debriefs and contribute ideas for improvement.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, tourism, or related program.
• Strong interest in banquet and event management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
