Bar & Lounge Manager

About the role

The Bar & Lounge Manager is responsible for daily shift operations, staff supervision, and delivering exceptional guest experiences at Sheraton's lounge in Dubai. The role also supports menu planning, inventory control, and compliance with liquor laws.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bar/lounge operations, ensuring adherence to beverage policies and local liquor regulations.
• Control inventories, monitor days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, cost controls and conduct sales analysis.
• Train and supervise staff, schedule staffing levels, and handle guest feedback and complaints.
• Assist servers during peak periods and support other food‑and‑beverage outlets as needed.
• Maintain food handling and sanitation standards and manage budgets, operating statements and payroll reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to enforce legal obligations, train staff, and achieve budgeted financial goals.
