Barge / Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Barge / Logistics Coordinator ensures safe and efficient offshore marine and logistics operations, coordinating the movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies between shore bases, barges, vessels, and offshore facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate day‑to‑day offshore logistics, including barge and vessel movements, crew changes, and material transfers.
• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly vessel schedules in collaboration with construction and marine teams.
• Monitor personnel on board, accommodation availability, and offshore transfer requirements.
• Manage cargo documentation, loading/unloading procedures, and ensure compliance with HSE and client standards.
• Support daily logistics reporting, vessel utilization reports, and offshore progress updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Communications, Maritime studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of offshore oil & gas logistics experience (8 years for UAE nationals), including at least 5 years on major marine construction projects.
• Experience working in the GCC region is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and marine transportation.
