Heavy Truck Driver

About the role

This full‑time Heavy Truck Driver position is based in Dubai and combines on‑site driving duties with some work‑from‑home tasks such as documentation and scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently, following assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, secure loads, and handle loading and unloading as required.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Adhere to safety protocols, traffic laws and relevant transportation regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff and customers to ensure punctual service.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy‑vehicle licence) with proven commercial freight transport experience.
• Knowledge of DOT (or regional) regulations and a strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Practical skills in loading, unloading and securing cargo.
• Clean driving record and ability to work independently or within a diverse team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with route planning and GPS systems.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
