Barista – Coffee Specialist in Cyprus

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our client’s coffee team in Cyprus. You will be the first point of contact for customers, creating high‑quality coffee drinks and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess their coffee preferences and recommend suitable drinks.
• Prepare and serve coffee beverages following standard recipes and techniques.
• Explain menu items and answer customer queries about coffee options.
• Maintain inventory of coffee beans, pastries and other bar items.
• Operate and troubleshoot espresso machines and related equipment, performing preventive maintenance.
• Follow sanitation and food‑safety regulations to keep the work area clean and safe.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months (2 years) of experience working as a Barista.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Strong attention to hygiene and food‑safety standards.
