Barista - Lobby Lounge

About the role

The Barista prepares and serves high-quality coffee and beverages in the lobby lounge of Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, delivering exceptional guest experiences in line with Hilton Brand Standards. The role focuses on consistent product quality, presentation and service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, build rapport and give accurate menu advice and recommendations
• Prepare and serve coffee-based drinks using manual and automatic grinders and espresso machines
• Handle food allergies, dietary requirements and guest modifications carefully
• Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve complaints promptly and seek support from the Supervisor when needed
• Recognize returning guests and their preferences to deliver personalized service
• Work collaboratively with the team to keep daily operations smooth
• Comply with hotel policies and health, safety and hygiene standards
• Keep the barista station, equipment and work areas clean and organized
• Record transactions accurately in the POS system, ensure billing accuracy and handle cash per hotel procedure

Required profile

• Ability to prepare and serve coffee, tea and specialty beverages to Hilton standards
• Attention to detail, a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
• Excellent grooming and presentation in line with Hilton brand requirements
• Advantageous: previous experience in a luxury hotel brand and knowledge of Forbes Standards

• Operating and maintaining coffee machines, grinders and other beverage equipment
• POS transaction recording and billing accuracy
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with replenishment
