Bid Manager

About the role

The Bid Manager will lead the end‑to‑end bid process for Public Safety and Security (PSS) solutions, ensuring timely and high‑quality submissions that meet customer expectations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the bid project from opportunity identification to contract signature.
• Define bid strategy, coordinate internal stakeholders (engineering, product, logistics, finance, legal, compliance, quality) and manage gate reviews.
• Prepare and submit bids, ensuring profitability, cash‑flow rules and risk analysis are respected.
• Participate in customer presentations, negotiations and support sales teams.
• Promote the full PSS portfolio, understand end‑user requirements and tailor solutions.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers to shape sales strategy and respond to RFPs.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing bid or proposal processes.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and lead review meetings.
• Strong analytical skills for risk and financial exposure assessment.
• Excellent communication skills for customer presentations and negotiations.
