BMS Operator

About the role

The BMS Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance of HVAC systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on Building Management System (BMS) monitoring and control.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AHUs, FCUs, MAUs, exhaust systems, chillers, cooling towers, and dehumidifiers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to SOPs and maintenance plans.
• Monitor HVAC systems via BMS (Siemens Desigo CC, Honeywell, Schneider or equivalent), acknowledge and respond to alarms and trends.
• Support point‑to‑point checks, loop checks, and requalification activities.
• Ensure temperature, humidity, and pressure differentials meet GMP and URS requirements.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, WHO, EU GMP, FDA regulations and ALCOA+ data integrity principles.

Required profile

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or cleanroom HVAC environments.
• Hands‑on experience with BMS platforms.

Required skills

• HVAC system components: AHU, FCU, MAU, chillers, cooling towers, dehumidifiers.
• BMS platforms: Siemens Desigo CC, Honeywell, Schneider.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• cGMP, WHO, EU GMP, FDA compliance knowledge.
