Production Coordinator (Exhibitions & Events)

About the role

The Production Coordinator acts as the link between project managers, the fabrication division and other departments. The role coordinates and distributes information about assigned jobs so they can be produced and delivered on time, while following production schedules and client finishing guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Attend production meetings with steel, paint, carpentry and electrical teams and the Project Manager, and act as the main contact for the fabrication team on scheduling, finishes, pre- and post-installation information and quality.
• Coordinate production workflow with operation managers, production and site teams, prioritise work and investigate possible delays.
• Follow up with suppliers on quotations, drawings, raw materials, mockups and quality checks, and share drawings, colour codes, site installation details and permits with production.
• Review the daily fabrication schedule and inform the Fabrication Division Manager of delays or disruptions.
• Manage the project budget, track variations and document them; coordinate site transport, water, machinery and plant needs.
• Maintain job records, internal estimation and reality files, and keep production libraries updated with new techniques and products.

Required profile

• 3 years of experience in the exhibitions and events field.
• Graduate level education.
• English and Hindi; AutoCAD knowledge.
• Ability to understand the full production process, read drawings and know basic raw materials, and to handle last-minute changes.
